Carbon Market Advisory and Carbon Credit Development
With staff experience in both regulatory and voluntary markets, Viability Africa can provide best practice consulting in managing carbon asset strategy. We work closely with project developers to bring carbon assets to market. The creation of carbon credits can be a confusing, time consuming, costly, and overwhelming process for many, and our experienced staff will provide clarity from initial project analysis to issuance of credits. Our step-by-step approach ensures successful carbon asset development with guidance throughout all phases of the project cycle, including managing the transaction to ensure the project developer secures the most value from their carbon assets.
By assisting in the development of business plans, market strategy, and financial analysis, Viability Africa provides a professional and transparent overview of our clients' renewable energy and greenhouse gas reduction projects. Development opportunities throughout the world struggle to secure financing, and Viability Africa were established to respond to the challenge. After analyzing or creating a project's business and implementation plan, technical feasibility and management structure, Viability Africa will focus on identifying and securing debt and/or equity financing on behalf of the project.
Investing in development in Africa has always shown great promise, but for many on the outside looking in, there is a great deal of uncertainty on appropriate partnerships and project feasibility. To minimize and manage the risk of investment, Viability Africa has established close relationships with local, American, European and other international corporations, investors and developers interested in renewable energy financing.
Viability Africa and its strategic partners will work side by side with developers throughout project development and implementation to ensure the project remains viable through the early stages of its life. Viability Africa establishes key relationships between projects and suppliers, engineers, installers, operators, builders, government parties, power purchasers, and other project stakeholders. This coordination role assures investor comfort in their financing and acts as a focal point to coordinate all phases of the renewable energy project.
