Nairobi HospitalArgwings Kodhek Rd
About the Company
Opened in 1954, The Nairobi Hospital has excelled in medical expertise and services provision and has deservedly earned recognition throughout East Africa and beyond as an advanced diagnostic, treatment and referral centre. Expansive investment in latest technology and medical equipment has enabled us establish leadership in medical procedures both in Kenya and outside.
Our Vision is to be the leader in healthcare within Central and Eastern Africa. We will achieve this by our commitment to quality, supporting, strengthening and involving our staff members, being innovative, leading through example and growing as an organization.
Achievements of the Hospital in environmental health and safety
The Hospital has colour coding of waste bags to schemes to ensure sorting at source. We recycle papers and envelopes (with confidentiality being carefully controlled).
The Nairobi Hospital Environment, Health and Safety Policy Statement
The environment goals of the Hospital are to protect the environment, patients, employees, neighbors and all other customers.
This commitment will be fulfilled by proactive implementation of procedures and programs to prevent pollution; compliance with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements and employment of management systems designed to prevent activities that pose a threat to human health, safety or the environment.
The Hospital will champion the cause for conservation and prudent use of renewable sources of energy. We will minimize the waste generated and work towards the safe treatment and disposal of waste.
The Hospital will have a continuous format on communication to all persons working for or on behalf of the organization, and how to communicate to the public.
This policy statement has been made available to the public by use of notice boards and The Nairobi Hospital Website http://www.nairobihospital.org/
We will seek opportunities for continual improvement to our environment, health and safety management and periodically report assessment progress in line with our set objectives and targets.
